Jakarta, The Jakarta Post --- PT Apexindo Pratama Duta has won a new contract valued at US$22.3 million from Star Energy Holding Ltd. And Magma Nusantara Ltd. for geothermal drilling work in West Java, the publicly listed company’s president Hertriono Kartowisastro, revealed Tuesday.
He said Apexindo, a subsidiary of publicly listed PT Medco Energy International that offers oil, gas and geothermal drilling services, would work on development of the Wayang Windu geothermal power plant in Pengalengan, West Java.
He said the project would commence sometime in August 2006. “We will work on the project for a minimum period of 1 year, with an extension option,” he noted. - JP
